Identification of three SH2 domain containing PTP genes in fish and their phylogenetic relationship with human pseudogenes

NJ-tree of 37 human PTP domains and selected sequences from other species that cluster with human SHP1 and SHP2. The human pseudogenes SHP3 and the five processed SHP2 pseudogenes are shown in italics. SH2 domain-containing PTPs from stingray (ry), zebrafish (z) and fugu (fu) are highlighted in bold.
